Harnessing Integrated Apps on the Mac

Harness the power of the software already on your students' laptops to capture, coordinate, and creatively communicate concepts in the Science classroom. Learn features and tips for Photo Booth, Safari, iPhoto, GarageBand, iMovie, Keynote and other Mac applications to quickly and easily integrate web resources and student lab work into student projects allowing students to focus more understanding concepts rather than complexities of disparate applications.

Session Variations

Teachers may attend one, two, or all three sessions. Each session will begin in a similar fashion with variations for those repeating, but each subsequent session will involve a different set of Mac applications including the iLife and iWork suites (indicated below). You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions. Repeat participants will be able to follow along to review and consolidate initial strategies and/or explore additional Science linksprovided while working in parallel on the respective applications.
